Why Extract Dust and Fumes
Factory and workshop processes create dust and fumes. Wood dust from joinery shops in Baglan Bay, metal particles from Port Talbot steelworks and chemical vapours from Neath manufacturing can cause workplace issues. Extraction systems help with:
Health – Reduces exposure to irritants
Workspace – Keeps equipment and surfaces cleaner
Compliance – Meets HSE and COSHH requirements for Welsh businesses
Testing
System checks keep equipment working properly. Our staff test LEV systems as required by regulations. HSE rules require testing every 14 months. Most local businesses schedule checks twice yearly.
Regular Checks – Filter inspection and airflow measurement
Repairs – Parts replacement and system fixes
