About Dust and Fume Extraction
Factory processes create dust and fumes. Wood shavings, metal dust and chemical vapours pose health risks in workshops across Torfaen. Extraction systems serve three main purposes:
Health Protection – Reduces worker exposure to dust and fumes
Workshop Cleanliness – Keeps equipment and surfaces cleaner
Legal Requirements – Helps meet HSE and COSHH regulations
Testing and Maintenance
Your system needs regular checks. Our engineers test LEV systems to current standards. HSE rules require testing every 14 months. Systems in constant use need more frequent checks.
Regular Inspections – Filter changes, airflow tests and basic maintenance
Repairs – Quick response to breakdowns with parts kept in our Pontypool van stock
